Online enrollment for 2025-2026 school year will open March 3rd at 9am

The documents we will need by the start of school: 

• Child's Original/Certified Birth Certificate. If your child was not born in the United States a valid passport is acceptable.

• Proof of vision, hearing and dental screening

• Parent/Guardian Identification (valid driver's license or picture identification card with district address.)

• Immunization Record 

• Two proofs of residency 

  • One must be a mortgage, lease or tax document 

  • The second must be a utility linked to the address of residence

Young 5s Information

Young 5s is a program designed for students who would benefit from a year of growth prior to beginning the Kindergarten curriculum expectations.  It is intended for students who have a birthday between June 1st, 2020 and December 1st, 2020.  

Young 5s is HIGHLY recommended for children with fall birthdays. 

Placement in Young 5s is based on the following criteria:

• Readiness Screener

• Teacher Screener Input

• Child’s Birthday

• Parent Input 

Young 5s:

• Follows the same calendar as all West Shore students

• Is an all-day, Monday-Friday program with transportation and food service.
