Our internet issue has been corrected. If you still have issues a reboot or hard reset should clear the issue.

We are currently experiencing a countywide internet issue affecting all devices at school and chromebooks at home. If you are unable to connect, please keep trying. If your teacher isn't in a meet, please be patient as they try to connect.

If you are still experiencing internet issues with your chromebook at home, please forget your Wi-Fi network and connect again. This seems to be the fix for the few still not connecting.

Chromebooks worked far better today than yesterday. We made another change this evening hoping to fix those that still aren't working. If you have issues, please try a hard reset which should force the update.

Most chromebooks are working now. If your chromebook is not, please leave it turned on this evening. We are hoping an update will apply and correct the issue. If it's still not working in the morning, we likely will need you to bring it in. My apologies.

The internet filtering issue were we experiencing has been corrected. If you still can't get online, please reboot or hard reset the chromebook.

We are currently experiencing county wide internet filtering issues. We are working to get it fixed as quickly as possible. All district own chromebooks both at school and at home will be impacted.

The problem causing chromebook connection issue has been corrected.

We are experiencing a countywide internet issue that is causing Chrome connection issues. Stay tuned for more information.

The problems accessing Google Classroom and Google Meet have been corrected. If you are still having issues, try the steps at the address below. If they don't help, please contact the school for additional help.

The problem accessing Google Classroom and Google Meet remains. We are working to determine the cause and correct the issue. If you have access to a device other than a district chromebook, you should be able to access Classroom and Meet from that device.

An update has been applied that we believe will correct our issues with Google Classroom and Google Meet. If you are still experiencing issues, please try to force the update to apply to your Chromebook using the steps at https://www.lakefentonschools.org/hard-reset

We continue to experience issues with Google Classroom and Google Meet. They are caused by our internet filter which is managed by the Genesee ISD. The Genesee ISD is working with the vendor to resolve the issue ASAP. A hard reset has proved to be helpful for some people.
